Séverine obtained her Master in Marketing, Economics and Languages (English and Spanish) in Dijon, France, in 1997. She then spent one year at Manchester University and another year working at an import/export company in Madrid. Séverine brings to the table more than 20 years of experience in project and team management, in sectors as diverse as automotive parts, promotional items and localization. In 2010, she and Fabien set out to create their very own ‘Sparkling’ company. Today Séverine is proud of the varied talents and skills of her growing Sparkling Team. Managing day-to-day business by optimizing quality of service and efficiency is both her mission and her passion. Always on the lookout for new partnership opportunities, she focuses on promoting the company’s broad service spectrum and overall visibility. 
When she’s not Sparkling, Séverine enjoys wine tasting and trying to cook like her dad, a Burgundian chef!

EXPERTISE: Overall management, localization and project management expertise, sales

Fabien holds a translation degree (English and Spanish) obtained in 1997. Since then, he has been working in the localization/translation sector and, in particular, in the project management area. He has an excellent understanding of the business challenges that impact our clients, major international companies who need to communicate across borders. Prior to starting his own company, Sparkling Lengua, in 2010, Fabien was Senior Localization Manager at a public relations agency specialized in the high-tech and print sectors. He also worked for 10 years as Head of Project Management at Hitext, a localization company, developing linguistic solutions for websites, software, marketing collateral and technical documentation. Today Fabien enjoys his team management role every day at Sparkling Lengua while focusing on the company’s commercial development together with Séverine.
When he’s not Sparkling, he likes to hit the ball on a tennis court, travel the world or simply enjoy a good Belgian beer in the evening.

EXPERTISE: Workflow optimization, accounting, human resources, IT

Seb completed a Master’s degree in marketing, economics and languages (English and German) in Dijon and Lyon (France) as well as in Munich (Germany). This was followed by a second Master’s degree in localization engineering, project management and subtitling in Brussels (ISTI). Active in the localization industry since 2004, Seb has held various roles: from localization engineering to project management and on to operations management. Early on in his career, he met Fabien and, having previously joined forces at Hitext and duomedia, they’re now united once again: at Sparkling Lengua! As Operations Director, Seb supervises overall production, optimizing internal processes and workflows. With his solid background, and complementarity with Fabien and the wider team assured, Seb’s aim is to make Sparkling Lengua future-proof.

It’s Sparkling time when I get home to my kids screaming ‘Papaaaa’ or the TV blaring ‘Allez les Bleus’ (sorry, Fabien !  ) … preferably not simultaneously!

EXPERTISE: Translation, administration and accounting

Harmony obtained her Master in translation (French, English and Chinese) in Brussels in 2014, after a course of studies focused on technical translation. An avid globetrotter, she spent time living in several Asian countries before settling in Belgium, where she started a career in administrative management. With solid skills in multilingual communication and administration – thanks to her professional experience, her studies and world trips – she joined the Sparkling Team in February 2018. Since 2020, she has also excelled at translating and reviewing in French. Well-organized, practical, with a touch of perfectionism, she’s always ready to give a helping hand.
When she’s not Sparkling, Harmony loves playing video games or practising yoga.

EXPERTISE: Business development, marketing data management

Ingrid entered professional life in 1979, starting out as a legal assistant. Fifteen years on, with entrepreneurship running in the family, she set up her own business, dealing in women’s fashion, home décor and gift items for 22 years. In the course of this activity, she successfully branched out into furniture design, giving creative makeovers to more than 300 items. In September 2016, Ingrid joined the Sparkling Team as Business Development Manager. In no time at all, she excelled at this new discipline, eagerly hunting out new clients. Passionate and untiring, she stands out at data collection, complex file management and anything to do with organization. With a firm grasp of the challenges involved in her job, she never loses sight of the end. And, believe us, she can be persevering! 
When she’s not Sparkling, Ingrid continues to indulge her taste for arts, crafts and decoration. Always in motion, she loves spending time with her family, and Wii games are a particular passion!

Working mostly behind the scenes, Ariane nevertheless plays an important part in keeping our clients happy. Very versatile, she revises, translates, transcreates and even copywrites over the whole range of industries our clients represent – from graphic arts to construction machinery, chemistry to IT… This variety is also one of the things she likes best about her job – along with supporting, advising and instructing freelance translators from all over the world. Ariane cut her teeth, professionally speaking, in Scotland and Ireland before settling down in Belgium. Scotland is also where she obtained her Master in Translation & Interpreting back in 1997. Prior to that, she studied the same disciplines in Munich, Germany. Along with her native German, her working languages are English and French. She also has some Russian and is working on her Dutch.
When she’s not Sparkling, Ariane loves reading, cooking and all kinds of outdoor activity.

After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation (French, Spanish and Portuguese) in her native Italy, Alessandra moved to Brussels in 2011 to complete her Master in translation (Italian and Spanish to French). Her passion for languages, together with her early professional activities, pushed her to perfect her English and start learning Dutch. Ever since July 2014 she has been a valued member of the Sparkling Team – as a seasoned project manager, but also a reviewer of Italian, Spanish and Portuguese translations. Her eye for detail also comes in handy when invoicing clients.
When she’s not Sparkling, Alessandra is a devoted mum to her two little ‘whirlwinds’. She loves laughing, travelling and playing tennis.

After obtaining her degree in translation (English and Spanish, with a specialization in international affairs) in 2002, Stephanie worked in-house for two different translation agencies – including Hitext, where she started working with Fabien in 2004. After four years in-house, thoroughly trained in all things pertaining to translation by experienced translators, she decided to make the big jump and started working as a freelancer in 2007 before officially joining the Sparkling Lengua team in 2013. She now casts a sharp eye over any French written content, as well as different linguistic and terminology issues.
When she’s not Sparkling, Stephanie enjoys reading and travelling, but also a nice round of golf or a bike ride…

Enthusiastic and with a touch of perfectionism, Marianne is always ready to go the extra mile, both in project management and all things to do with DTP. With a degree in graphic design and a passion for languages, she started out as a freelance partner of various translation agencies. After a few years on her own, she joined Hitext, a localization company based in Brussels, where Fabien happened to be working in project management. At Sparkling Lengua, Marianne has been a valuable team member ever since 2012, when her and her husband’s design studio entered into a partnership with us. “All in all, I’ve been working with Fabien for years – and it’s a great experience! We’ve both been trained in the same spirit at Hitext – a spirit we’re keeping alive in our daily work.”
When she’s not Sparkling, Marianne loves travelling, reading and taking care of all her furry friends.

Valentin joined the Sparkling Team in August 2021, just a few days after graduating – with great distinction – in translation (English and Spanish to French). His Master’s degree in language technologies and his experience as student union president equipped him with all the organizational and technical skills required of a localization project manager. Resourceful and eager to learn, Valentin is a veritable jack-of-all-trades, lending a hand for tasks ranging from video subtitling to DTP. While proud of his rural upbringing in Belgium’s southeast (Gaume), he is always on the lookout for new adventures, such as canoeing across Sweden. His latest plans are to explore the rich natural and cultural heritage of South America and Asia.
When he’s not Sparkling, Valentin relishes in geeky pleasures, like video games and manga.

EXPERTISE: Desktop publishing and creative design

Having graduated in graphic design in 2013 (ESA Saint-Luc Liège), Audrey quickly discovered her passion for the world of localization. After several years in a competing company’s DTP department, she joined Sparkling Lengua in May 2019, bringing in a solid background in all things visual. With an eagle eye for detail, she likes a job well done – but always with a smile! As efficient as she is original, she continues to sparkle even after hours: part-time freelance, she loves creating beer labels and temporary tattoos, among other things.

It’s Sparkling time when I go to a concert with craft beers or dancing (though perhaps not both at the same time)!

Coralie completed her Master’s degree in translation (English and Dutch) in 2012. Her training focused primarily on website and software localization, subtitling and project management. Coralie’s educational background and prior work experience allowed her to gain strong skills in multilingual communication as well as hands-on expertise in project management. She joined the Sparkling Lengua team in June 2013. Coralie successfully handles any file format and is always keen and quick to learn more. She is curious about new technologies and will always look for solutions to tricky situations. Last but not least: she must be the fastest keyboard typist ever  When she’s not Sparkling, Coralie loves expanding her knowledge of the Star Wars Expanded Universe.

It’s Sparkling time when I’m planning my next trip abroad. The further, the better.

EXPERTISE: Project management, engineering, preparing unusual formats and complex files for translation

Émilie obtained her Master in translation (Italian and English to French) in 2016, followed by a teaching diploma in 2017. Having started out as a language teacher for children, teenagers (not quite her cup of tea ) and adults, she returned to the business she likes best: translation. As Project Manager, then Business Unit Leader, at an international localization agency in Belgium she gained invaluable experience, which she brought to our Sparkling Team in June 2021. A veritable technology buff, she has remained true to her teaching ethos by helping her colleagues steer the various technical challenges that can come with localization projects.
When she’s not Sparkling, Émilie loves baking cakes and biscuits – to share with friends, her husband and her little daughter during hikes in the Belgian countryside.

Hailing from Brazil’s southeast, with dreams of the big wide world, Monica settled in Belgium at 21 years of age. After working in the cleaning industry for many years, a workplace accident forced her to rethink her career. A lucky star brought her to the doorstep of Sparkling Lengua, where her motivation and good spirits proved a great match. Enthusiastic and eager to learn, she joined our sales team in early 2023. Hand in hand with Ingrid and Claudiu, she now manages our growing sales databases and assists in hunting out and approaching new leads. Apart from her native Portuguese, she is fluent in French and Spanish.

When she’s not Sparkling, Monica loves spending quality time with her two sons and three cats. Sports, movies and video games are other great passions of hers.
